Hing Matar ki Tikki

green peas tikki
It is a north Indian dish, very tasty and easy to prepare green peas tikki with asafoetida flavour.

Ingredients
Green peas blanched                400 gm
Asafoetida                                1 pinch
Cumin seeds sahi                     10 gm
Coriander seeds                        5 gm
Ginger chopped                         20 gm
Ghee                                        60 ml
Salt                                          to taste
Green chilli chopped                  4
Corn flour                                  1 tbsp

Method
Heat ghee in a pan, add whole cumin, coriander, asafoetida, chopped ginger and stir.
add spices with asafoetida 
Add blanched green peas and mix well.

Then put it in a grinder and make a paste.
Remove this paste in a bowl.

Then add corn flour and mix well for binding.

Heat 1 tsp ghee in a pan.
Now make tikki shapes from this mixture and place on pan.

Cook from both sides till light brown on low flame.
