Soaked broken wheat Salad with
vegetables is a low calorie, high fiber salad; a
excellent option for people who are
on weight loss programs or are diabetic.
Ingredients
Soaked
broken wheat 1 cup
Finely
chopped bell peppers 1 cup
Finely
chopped onion 1 cup
Finely
chopped garlic 1 tsp
Finely
chopped parsley 1 tsp
Finely
chopped coriander 1 tsp
Olive
oil 3 – 4 tbsp
Black
pepper powder to taste
Salt to
taste
Lemon
juice 1 tbsp
For
garnish
Finely
chopped parsley
Salad
leaves
Method
Soak
the broken wheat for 2 hours.
Take
a mixing bowl, add soaked broken wheat, finely chopped green red yellow bell
peppers, finely chopped onion, finely chopped garlic, finely chopped parsley,
finely chopped coriander, olive oil, black pepper, salt and lemon juice and mix
well.

Remove
this salad in serving plate and garnish the dish with parsley and salad leaves.
