multigrain idli |
Idli is a traditional breakfast in south India. Now a days
it no longer just a South Indian favorite, Idlis are loved and can be found just about anywhere
in India. Here this idli is very healthy preparation with jowar, ragi, rice and
gram flour and serve with coriander and sesame chutney.
Ingredients
For
idli
Jowar
flour 2
tbsp
Gram
flour ½ cup
Rice
flour 2
tbsp
Ragi
flour 1
tbsp
Sesame
seeds 1 tbsp
Curd 1
cup
Baking
soda 2 tsp
Grated
coconut 1 tbsp
Salt to
taste
Black
pepper to taste
For
chutney
Coriander ¼
bunch
Sesame
seeds 2 tbsp
Green
chillies 2 – 3 nos
Garlic
cloves 10 – 12 nos
Oil 1
tbsp
Salt to
taste
Method
Take
a mixing bowl, add jowar flour, rice flour, gram flour, ragi flour, coconut,
curd and mix well.
Add
required water and mix it well.

Now
add salt and black pepper and mix well and rest it for 15 minutes.

baking soda in it.

To
make idli
Take
a steamer and put mixture on it.

Cover
and cook for 10 - 15 minutes.

To
make chutney
Take
a mixer, put coriander, green chillies, sesame seeds, garlic, salt, oil, some
water and make a smooth paste.

Now
remove idlis from the steamer and serve with chutney.
