Apple Jalebi

Batter fried green apple roundels soaked in fragrant saffron syrup and served with mint leaves. This is a modified version of traditional Jalebis.

Ingredients
Green apple                                          1 no
Oil                                                        to fry
Sugar syrup (honey, sugar,
saffron and cardamom)                         as required
For batter                                 
Refined flour and yeast mixture              ½ cup
Refined flour                                         ¼ cup

Method
To make batter
Take a bowl, add refined flour and yeast mixture.

Then add water and refined flour and mix it well and keep aside.

Now cut the slices of the green apple.

Then cut the middle portion of the slices with the help of small round cutter.

Heat oil in a pan.
Now dip the apple slices in prepared batter and fry it in hot oil until light brown.

Then put fried slices in the warm sugar syrup.

Then take them out on a plate.

Now keep them on serving plate garnish with mint leaf.
