Anjeer Besan Sheera Samosa

The most popular snake samosa in India, made with fig and gram flour filling. Fig which is very helpful for diabetes, cough, bronchitis, and asthma, constipation, indigestion, piles.

Ingredients
For Samosa
Ghee                                        2 tbsp
Flour                                         1 cup
Fennel powder                          ½ tsp
Oil                                            to fry
For anjeer besan sheera
Ghee                                        2 tbsp
Gram flour                                1 cup
Dry fig                                      6 – 7 nos
Milk                                          1 cup
Sugar                                       3 tbsp
For garnish
Strawberry syrup                      
Fresh figs

Method
Put flour in a bowl, ghee and fennel powder and mix well.
Now add required water and make dough and keep it aside for 10 minutes.

To make besan sheera
Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add gram flour then stir and roast on low flame till bright yellow.

Now finely chop dried fig and add to the pan.
Add some milk and sugar then stir well.

Stir and cook and make a smooth mixture.

Remove in a bowl and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
Now roll some portion of dough and roll out and cut in half.

Then make a pocket with one half then fill it with besan sheera and seal the sides to make samosas.

Then deep fry the prepared samosas until golden brown.
Remove on tissue.

To make salad
Cut fresh fig and mix it with strawberry syrup.

To garnish drizzle strawberry syrup on the plate, serve samosas on plate with fresh fig wedges.
