Keshri murg

keshri murg
It is a Royal Hyderabadi chicken dish with saffron.

Ingredients
Chicken breast                          200 gm
Green cardamom                       4 – 5
Black cardamom                       2
Cloves                                      4 – 5
Cinnamon                                 2 inches
Onion paste                              3 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste                    1 tsp
Ghee                                        3 tsp
Saffron soaked in milk                3 tsp
Yogurt                                       2 ½ tbsp
Cream                                       2 tbsp
Cashew nut paste                      1 tsp
Salt                                           to taste
Coriander leaves
For garnish

Method
Take a mixing bowl and marinate chicken with salt, keep aside.
Heat ghee in a kadai, add green cardamom, black cardamom, cinnamon, cloves and sauté.

Add onion paste and stir for 2 minutes or until light brown.

In a bowl mix yogurt with some water and add into kadai.

Now add soaked saffron milk, mix well and cook for a while.

Add ginger garlic paste and mix well.

Then add marinated chicken and stir. Cover and cook for 10 minutes.

Open cover and add cream.

Add chopped coriander leaves and mix well.

The keshri chicken is ready, garnish with saffron.
