This is a Punjab
cuisine main course semi dry, cottage cheese curry recipe wherein amount of
onion used is relatively larger
compared with other main ingredients.
Ingredients
Chopped onion 2
nos.
Chopped tomato 2 nos.
Mustard seeds 1
tbsp
Red chilli powder 3 tsp
Paneer 200
gm
Garam masala powder 1 tsp
Salt to
taste
Mustard oil 3
– 4 tbsp
For garnish
Onion rings
Method
Heat mustard oil in a pan.
Within this time, mix red chilli powder and
water in a bowl to make a paste.
Now add mustard seeds in hot oil and sauté,
add onion and sauté.

Then add chopped tomato and stir well.

Add the prepared red chilli paste and mix
well.

Then add water in it and cook for 5 – 6
minutes.
After this add paneer cubes and mix well.

Now add garam masala powder, salt and cook
for 2 – 3 minutes.

Serve the paneer do pyaaza in serving plate
and garnish with onion rings.
