Ingredients
Chicken 500gm
Chopped onion 2
nos.
Chopped tomatoes 2 nos.
Mustard seeds 1
tsp
Chopped garlic 2 tsp
Grated coconut 1 nos.
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Curry leaves 6
– 7 nos.
Salt to taste
Oil as required
For roasted masala
Coriander seeds 3 tsp
Fenugreek seeds ¼ tsp
Cumin seeds ¼
tsp
Carom seeds ¼
tsp
Roasted coconut ½ nos.
Cinnamon sticks 2 nos.
Black peppercorns 4 – 5 nos.
Cloves 4 – 5 nos.
Dry kasmiri chillies 6 – 7 nos.
Method
To prepare roasted masala
In 1 tbsp oil roast coriander seeds,
fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, carom seeds, black peppercorn, cloves, cinnamon,
dry kashmiri chillies, halfof ground coconut then put them in grinder and make a fine
powder and keep aside.
Now heat oil in a pan, add chopped onion,
salt and sauté till colour changes into golden brown.

Then add chicken, turmeric powder and stir
well.
Heat oil in another pan, add mustard seeds, garlic
and curry leaves and stir and remove from heat.
