Rajasthani mirchi ke pakora

rajasthani mirchi ki pakora
It is a popular street snack of Rajasthan also known as Jodhpuri Mirchi Vada. Green giant peppers stuffed with a masala potato filling and deep fried and served with green chutney.

Ingredients
Achari green or red chillies         8 – 10
Boiled potato                            2 – 3
Gram flour                                4 tbsp
Turmeric powder                       ½ tsp
Red chilli powder                      ½ tsp
Mango powder                          ½ tsp
Mustard powder                        ½ tsp
Chopped coriander                    1 tbsp
Chopped green chillies              ½ tsp

Method
To make filling
Smash potato and put in a mixing bowl, add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, mustard powder, mango powder, salt and mix well.

Slit the chillies and stuff with this filling and keep aside.

To make batter
Take gram flour in a bowl, add green chilli, chopped coriander, salt, water and mix well.

Heat oil in a pan.
Now dip the stuffed chillies in this batter and deep fry.
fry in hot oil
Remove on tissue.

Put bamboo skewer into fried chillies and serve with green chutney.
