Khowsuey

khowsuey
It is a very tasty Barmi cuisine, cooked chicken in gram flour and coconut milk and served with noodles.

Ingredients
Chicken (breast & leg piece)      500 gm
Ginger garlic paste                    1 tbsp
Red chilli powder                       ½ tsp
Coriander powder                      ½ tsp
Cumin powder                           ½ tsp
Roasted gram flour                    2 tbsp
Chopped tomato                       1 small bowl
Chopped onion                         1
Spring onion chopped               1 small bowl
Coconut milk                            2 tbsp
Lemon juice                             1 tsp
Oil                                          1 tbsp
Salt                                         to taste
For garnish
Boiled noodle
Fried noodle
Coriander chopped

Method
First boil noodle with salt and oil then drain and keep aside.

Heat oil in a pan, add ginger garlic paste and stir it.
Then add chilli powder, cumin and coriander powder stir well.

Now add chopped onion and sauté.

Then add chopped tomato and mix well.

Add ½ liter of water and stir well.

Then add roasted gram flour and mix well.

Add chicken pieces, salt then cover and cook for 4-5 minutes.

Open cover and stir well.
Now add chopped coriander and coconut milk and mix well for while.

The chicken gravy is ready to serve.

For arranging
Put some boiled noodle on serving bowl.

Place the cooked chicken pieces on noodle then pour the gravy on chicken.

Now place the fried noodle and coriander leaves on top.
