Vanilla balushahi

vanilla balushahi
A flaky sweetmeat made with maida and garnished with chandi wark.

Ingredients
Baking soda                             ¼  tsp
Self raising flour                        1 ½ cup
Desi ghee                                 2 - 3 tbsp
Vanilla pod                               1 small
Oil                                            to fry 
For garnish

Method
Put the Flour, and Baking Soda in a bowl and mix well.
Now add Desi Ghee to it and mix well.

Add Vanilla extract and mix them well with the help of required water to form a dough.

When dough being formed, make small rounds of dough and press them little from the center, put them in the hot Oil to fry until golden brown.

Take the Balushahi’s out from the pan and keep on tissue.
remove from oil
Then dip them into the already prepared Sugar Syrup ( made from 2 cup water with 1 cup sugar)
put into sugar syrup
when they ready remove from sugar syrup.

Now plate them by putting silver leaf on them.

Your Vanilla Balushahi is ready to serve.
