Prawn Masala

Prawn Masala is simply delicious and packed with flavour of spices and very easy to cook.

Ingredients
Prawn (bagda)                           4 pices
Ginger                                      1 ½ inches
Garlic cloves                             5 – 6
Onion                                       1 medium
Tomato                                     1 medium
Turmeric powder                        1 tsp
Red chilli powder                       ½ tsp
Soya sauce                               ½ tsp
Garam masala powdoer             1 tsp
Mustard oil                               3 tbsp
Salt                                         to taste
Chopped coriander                   1 tbsp

Method
First clean and wash the prawns, poke stick to keep them straight then marinate with turmeric powder and salt for 10 minutes.

Within this time put onion, garlic, ginger and tomato in grinder and make a smooth paste.

Heat oil in a kadai and fry the prawns until light reddish. Remove and keep aside.

In the same oil add the paste and cook for 2 minutes.

Then add turmeric powder and chilli powder and cook for 2 – 3 minutes.

Now rinse the grinder with ½ cup of water and pour it into kadai.

Add fried prawns in this gravy and salt. Cover and cook for 2 – 3 minutes. In middle turn them over.

Open cover and add soya sauce and mix well. Cover cook for a minute.

Now cook garam masala powder, mix well. Let it stand for 2 minutes.

Add chopped coriander.
