malai badam barfi |
It
is a popular sweet dish of India prepared from milk with dry fruit.
Ingredients
Milk ½
liter
Vinegar 2 – 3 tbsp
Ghee 2
– 3 tbsp
Sugar
syrup as per
taste
Almond
powder 2 tbsp
Crushed
almond 2 ½ tbsp
For
garnish
Almond
flakes
Rabdi
Caramelised
almond stick
Method
Heat
milk in a saucepan, when the milk is boiling add vinegar to curdle the milk.

Once
the milk curdles, removes it on a muslin cloth.

Prepare
chenna out of it.

On
a pan add ghee, chenna and mix well.
Add
sugar syrup and mix well.

Add
almond powder and crushed almond and mix well.

Remove
this mixture on a plate and set in a slab with help of a flat spatula.

Sprinkle
almond flakes over it.

Keep
this mixture plate in the refrigerator for 10 to 15 minutes.
For
caramelized almond sticks
Caramelise
sugar on a pan.
Poke
a soaked almond in tooth pick and coat the almond into caramelised sugar.
Now
take out the malai badam mixture from fridge and cut in barfi shape.
Serve
it with rabdi and caramelised almond sticks.
