Chiku barfi

chiku barfi 
Chiku (sapodilla) is one of the best delicious and healthy tropical fruit in India. Chiku  barfi is a yummy dish for chiku lover, very easy to prepare so try it.

Ingredients
Chiku puree                               ½ cup
Mawa                                        ½ cup
Ghee                                        1 tbsp
Powdered sugar                         6 – 7 tbsp
Cardamom powder                     1 tsp
Pistachio powder                       1 tsp
Pistachio                                   for garnish

Method
First heat ghee on a non-stick pan, add mawa and chiku puree then mix well for 2 minutes.

Now add powdered sugar and mix well and stir until dry.

Then add cardamom powder and pistachio powder then mix well and let it cool down.
Now remove the mixture on a plate and make a slab with a flat spatula.

Put the plate in fridge for 10 minutes.
Then cut the cold mixture in square or any shapes and garnish with pistachio powder and pistachio.

Your chiku barfi is ready to serve.
