Smoked Chicken

Special flavour of this spicy chicken is for burning coal smoke.

Ingredients
Chicken cut into small pieces
1 cup
Olive oil
1/2 cup
Curry leaves
22-25
Onion chopped
1/2 cup
Ginger-garlic paste
1 tablespoon
Turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon
Red chilli powder
1 teaspoon
Garam masala powder
1 teaspoon
Coconut scraped
2 tablespoons
Coal
1 piece
Coriander leaves chopped
1 tablespoon
Cloves

Method
Heat oil in a non stick pan, add curry leaves and sauté till crisp. Take out leaves and keep aside on a plate. Now in the hot oil add onion-chopped, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and garam masala mix and sauté for 2 minutes.
Add chicken pieces in pan and mix well, cover and cook till done.
Meanwhile keep the coal on flame. Add coconut and coriander leaves to the chicken and mix well.

Put the burning coal in a small bowl and place the bowl in middle of the cooked chicken pieces. Place cloves on the coal and drizzle 1 tablespoon olive oil on top. Immediately cover the pan tightly and let it remain for 15 minutes. Garnish with the sautéed curry leaves and serve hot.
