Fish (Bata) with orange/bata mache komla lebor labonno

Bata mache komla lebur labonno
Hi friends, fish named Bata is very testy and beneficial for our body. From my childhood I have been testing sorshe bata, bata macher jhal but today I have done some experiment on it with our favourite Darjeeling sweet orange. Before cooking and testing it I couldn’t imagine that the orange can enhance the fish taste this much. The taste is so refreshing. Here I am cooking for serving 2 persons. So try and enjoy it with hot rice.

Ingredients
Bata fish                                   2
Orange                                     3 cloves
Panch foron (five spices)            ½ teaspoon
Tomato                                     ¼ of medium size
Green chilli                                2
Dry chilli                                   ½
Turmeric powder                        ½ teaspoon
Salt                                          to taste
Mustard oil                                1 tablespoon

Method
First wash fishes properly then marinate with turmeric powder and salt for 5-10 minutes. Heat oil in pan,  tear ½ dry red chilli and put in hot oil and add panch foron (cumin-seed, black cumin-seed, fenugreek seed, aniseed and pasley these five kinds of spices), wait until fragrant then add marinated fish and fry for 3 minutes from both sides in medium heat. Then add chopped tomato and fry all together for 2 minutes.
