moong dal humus |
Normally hummus made from chick peas here it
made with golden gram.
Ingredients
Soaked moong dal 200 gm
Tahini paste 1
tbsp
Chopped garlic 1 tbsp
Lemon juice ¼
tsp
Olive oil 400 gms
Red chilli powder 1 tsp
Salt to
taste
For garnish
Green olives as
required
Cucumber and carrot salad as required
Olive oil 2 tsp
Red chilli powder a pinch
Method
First boil water and add the soaked moong dal
into it, blanch for 1 to 1 ½ minutes.

Then stain it.

Take a mixer, add stained moong dal, tahini
paste (if tahini paste is not available then use white sesame seed paste),
chopped garlic, lemon juice and keep blending.

Now keep adding the olive oil and keep
blending with the mixture.

Then remove the mixture in a bowl.
Add lemon juice, red chilli powder, salt in
mixture and mix well.

Serve it in a bowl, keep olives in a bowl,
place the cucumber and carrot salad.

Add olive oil and sprinkle red chilli powder
