Moshur dal with onion fry |
Ingredients
Moshur dal 4
tablespoon
Onion 1
medium
Black cumin/kalonji 1.2
teaspoon
Green chilli 3-4
Turmeric powder ½
teaspoon
Salt to
taste
Sugar ¼
teaspoon
Mustard oil 2
teaspoon
Method
Boil water in pressure cooker and add washed moshur dal.
Cook for 3-4 minutes.
In the mean time finely slice onion and chop green
chillies. Heat oil in kadai add black cumin and sliced onion and sauté for
2minutes or until light brown on medium heat. Now pour cooked dal then stir and
add turmeric powder, salt, stir it nicely and cover in low heat for 2-3
minutes. Open cover and add chopped chillies and sugar then again cover for 1-2
minutes. Dal is ready to serve.
