Tomato soup is the most popular soup in Indian cuisine. This soup is very easy to make with easy available ingredients and is loved by
all.
Ingredients
Bay leaf 2
nos.
Garlic cloves 8
– 10 nos.
Sliced onion 1
tbsp
Sliced carrot 1
tbsp
Sliced tomato 1
cup
All purpose flour 2 – 3 tbsp
Water as
required
Butter 1
– 2 tsp
Sugar ½
tsp
Soup cube 1
tsp
Salt to
taste
Crushed black peppercorn to taste
For garnish
Fresh cream
Puffed rice
Coriander leaves
Method
Heat oil in a pan, add bay leaf, garlic
cloves, sliced onion and sauté.
Then add sliced carrot, sliced tomato then
stir and add all purpose flour and mix well.

Add water then mix well.
Now blend this tomato mixture well.
Then heat butter in another pan, pour the
blinded puree.

Add sugar, salt, sugar cubes, crushed black peppercorn and
boil it.

Then strain it in a bowl.

Serve the prepared soup in a bowl.

Now garnish with
fresh cream, puffed rice and coriander leaves.
