Lacknow kachori mutter

lachnow kachori mutter
It is a popular breakfast dish from lakhnow, very tasty and easy to prepare so try it.

Ingredients
For dough
Wheat flour                               2 cups
Butter                                       2 tbsp
Oil                                            2/3 cup
Salt                                          to taste
Aniseed powder                         ½ tsp
Clove powder                             a pinch
Cinnamon powder                      a pinch
Black gram dal paste                 ½ cup
  (over night soaked)
For safed matar ki sabzi
Butter                                       1 ½ tsp
Ginger garlic paste                     1 tbsp
Chopped ginger                          1 ½ tsp
Boiled white chickpeas               1 cup
Degi mirch powder                     1 tsp
Garam masala powder                1 tsp
Coriander powder                       1 tsp
Cumin powder                            1 tsp
Green chilli chopped                   1 tsp
Tamarind chutney                       2 tbsp
Green chutney                           ¼ cup
Coriander leaves chopped           2 tbsp
Curd                                         ½ cup
For serving
Cucumber

Method
Prepare dough
Take a bowl, add wheat flour, butter, oil, salt, aniseed powder, black gram dal paste, water and knead into tight dough.

Rest the dough for 10 minutes.
keep dough for 10 minutes
Heat oil on a pan.
Take a small portion from dough, apply oil and roll out poories and fry them in hot oil.

Prepare sabzi
In a pan melt butter, add ginger-garlic paste and sauté.
Then add boiled white chickpeas, mix well.
add degi mirch powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, chopped green chillies, tamarind chutney, mix well.

Add water, cover and let it cook for 10 minutes.

Once cooked add chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
Add curd stir well.

Matar sabzi is ready to serve.
In a bowl place the matar sabzi and place the poories.
For garnish
Chop cucumber and scoop out the pulp, cut them into juliennes and place in glass.

Place the glass on thet plate and garnish with coriander leaves.
