Delicious
vegetarian kababs made with peas and potato. Very easy to cook, Preparation Time 10-15
minutes for 4.
Ingredients
Green
peas 2
tablespoon
Cumin
seed ½
teaspoon
Ginger
chopped 1 teaspoon
Green
chilli chopped 1 teaspoon
Boiled
potato 1 medium
Salt to
taste
Ghee 2
tablespoon
Method
heat
ghee in pan then add cumin seed, stir and add ½
teaspoon chopped ginger, ½ teaspoon chopped chilli and 2tbs green peas
then sauté for 2-3 minutes in low flame (matar colour shouldn’t be changed).
Let it cool then put inside grinder and make a rough paste.
Now
grade the boiled potato. Then add in it chopped chilli, ½ teaspoon chopped
ginger, peas paste and salt then mix it properly. Now separate it in 4 portions
and give shape each portion into a ball and then
press it between your palms to give it a flat tikki shape.
Heat
1 tsp ghee in non-stick pan then add tikia one by one and fry both side in low
flame. The matar kabab is ready. Plate them with tomato sauce and mint chatney.
