Yummy Dahi Vada is a very popular north Indian dish made
with lentil dumplings dipped in yogurt and topped with boondi, red
chilli powder, coriander. It is great as a side dish for party.
Ingredients
Urad daal soaked ½ cup
Curd 1
cup
Chashni 2
tsp
Coriander leaves finely chopped as
required
Red chilli powder to taste
Boondi as
required
Black salt to
taste
Method
First grind the soaked udar daal with some
water and make a smooth paste.
Heat oil in a pan and put the daal paste by
spoon and deep fry on low flame till golden brown.
Remove on tissue and let it cool.

Then put them in water in a bowl for 2 – 3
minutes.
Then press the wada and let come out the
water and place on serving plate.
Now beat curd with chashni and pour over
vadas.
Then sprinkle boondi, red chilli powder,
black salt, chopped coriander and serve.
