Coconut Rice with Curry

The delicious South Indian dish, cooked rice with coconut served with mouth watering vegetable dish.

Ingredients
Cinnamon                                 3 – 4
Cloves                                      7 – 8
Coconut grated                          2 tbsp
Coriander seeds                        ½ tsp
Cumin seeds                            ½ tsp
Black pepper                            5 – 6
Red bell pepper                         2
Poppy seeds                            1 tsp
Rice                                         1 bowl
Ghee                                        2 tsp
Chopped carrots                        2 tbsp
Chopped beans                         2 tbsp
Green peas                               2 tbsp
Cream                                      1 tbsp
Salt                                          to taste
Oil                                           1 tbsp

Method
For rice
First heat ghee in pan, add half portion of cinnamon and cloves.
Now add water, rice, grated coconut, salt then cover and cook.

For curry
Take a grinder, put grated coconut, coriander, cumin, cinnamon, cloves, black pepper, red bell pepper, poppy seeds, salt, oil, some water and make a smooth paste.
Heat oil in pan, pour the prepared paste and cook for while.

Now add all half boiled vegetables, salt then cover and cook.

Open the cover of rice. If it is ready then switch off the oven.

Open cover of curry and add cream and mix well.

The curry is ready to serve.
