Chicken masala

chicken masala
Our all favourite chicken dish cooked with spices and served with boiled eggs.

Ingredients
Chicken                                   500 gm
Onion chopped                         2 medium
Tomato chopped                       1 medium
Cardamom                                2
Cloves                                      2
Cinnamon                                 2 inch
Bay leaf                                    2
Red chilli powder                       1 tbsp
Boiled eggs                               2
Ginger-garlic paste                     2 tbsp
Garam masala powder               1 tbsp
Cumin powder                           1 tbsp
Turmeric powder                        1 tbsp
Coriander chopped                     2 tbsp
Oil                                            2 tbsp
Salt                                           to taste

Method
First heat oil in a non-stick wok, add whole cardamom, bay leaf, cinnamon, cloves and sauté.
Now add chopped onion and stir-cook till light brown.

Then add chopped tomato and stir-cook till it soft.

Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Then add chilli powder, cumin powder and turmeric powder, garam masala powder and cook till oil separate from masala.

Now add chicken pieces and mix well, then stir and cook for 5-7 minutes in medium high flame.

Add little bit of water then cover and leave for 7-8 minutes.

Open cover and add chopped coriander leaves and mix well.

Remove it in a bowl, garnish with sliced boiled eggs and chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
