Masala Spiked toast

masala spiked toast
Very healthy breakfast with bread, topping with mushroom, spring onion and chilli flakes.

Ingredients
For Batter
Gram flour                                ½ cup
Chilli powder                             1 tsp
Turmeric                                   1 tsp
Cumin powder                           1 tsp
Salt                                          to taste
For Topping
Sliced mushrooms                    12-15 nos
Chopped spring onion                2 bulbs
Chopped spring onions              2 stalks
Salt                                         to taste
Chopped coriander                    few springs
Oil                                           3 tbsp
Chilli flakes                               as required

Method
For batter
Take a bowl, add gram flour, salt, cumin powder turmeric, chilli powder and water and whisk it.
Now coat the bread slices in the batter.

Then shallow fry the coated bread slices.

Now remove it on a plate.
For topping
Heat oil in a pan, add sliced mushrooms, chopped spring onions stalk, chopped spring onion bulbs and sauté for 2 minutes.

Now add chilli flakes and salt then mix well.

Add chopped coriander and mix well, the topping is ready.
Now for serving, put the topping on the bread slices and cut the slices.

Then garnish with lettuce leaves.
