Love me Two Times

Valentine's day special recipe for u.

Love me two times has dark chocolate, strawberry mousse cake and a red velvet base!

For Sponge Base
Flour                                         ¾ cup
Butter                                       ½ cup
Eggs                                        2
Sugar                                       ¼ cup
Backing powder                        ½ tsp

Method
First mix Cream, butter and sugar together. Whisk the eggs. Add in the flour and mix well. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for around 20-25 minutes. Take out and cool completely. Add edible red colour as per need.

For Dark Chocolate mousse
Sweetened whipped cream         150g
Ganache                                   100g
Gelatin (soaked in cold water)     8-10g

Method
Add the ganache to the whipped cream and mix well. Then add the pre-soaked gelatin and mix until smooth.        

For Setting the Dessert
Cut out the sponge with a heart-shaped mould. Top it with the dark chocolate mousse and set in the freezer for 2-3 hours.  When set, demould if necessary. Use strawberries to garnish.
