Diya aur Baati

Diya aur Batti
It is a diya shape sweet with khoya, coconut and almond. It is specially for Dewali.

Ingredients
Khoya                                       1 cup
Powdered coconut                      3 tbsp
Powdered sugar                         2 tbsp
Cocoa powder                            3 tbsp
Kewra water                              few drops
Soaked almonds                        4 - 5 pieces
Yellow food color                       few drops
For garnish
Silver warp

Method
Heat a nonstick pan, add Khoya to make it soft in low flame.
For Diya
Take a bowl, put light cooked Khoya, add powdered coconut and powdered sugar in it, then add cocoa powder and a few drops of kewra jal and mix well.
For ghee
Take a separate bowl, put Khoya, powdered sugar and some kesari food color and prepare soft dough.
Now peel the soaked almonds, add few dor of food colour in some water and dip it in the yellow food color. 
Now put the dough of the diya in a mould and keep space at middle.
Now fill the centre of diya with the ghee daugh.

Then put the almonds on the tip of the prepared diya and take it out of the mould carefully.

Now put it’s side on silver warp and make it glorious.
