It is a
popular street breakfast of Lucknow that
is relished a lot. This yummy chaat prepared with papdi,
yogurt tikki, sweet potato, sweet and green chutney.
Ingredients
For
Tikki
Hung
curd 1 cup
Chopped
coriander 1 tsp
Red
chilli powder ½ tsp
Roasted
cumin seeds ½ tsp
Salt to
taste
Refined
flour 1 tsp
Ghee 1
tbsp
For
Papdi
Refined
flour 1 cup
Salt to
taste
Black
pepper to
taste
Ghee 1
tsp
Oil for
frying
For
Sweet Potato Mixture
Boiled
sweet potato 1 cup
Chopped
coriander 1 tbsp
Rock
salt to
taste
Red
chilli powder 1 tsp
Lemon
juice 1 tsp
Oil 1
tsp
For
garnish
Tomato
chutney
Mint
chutney
Coriander
leaves
Method
For
tikki mixture
Take
a mixing bowl, add hung curd, chopped coriander, red chilli powder, roasted
cumin powder, salt and mix well.

Now
add refined flour and mix well. Let it rest for 10 minutes
For
the dough
Add
refined flour in bowl, add salt, black pepper and ghee mix well.

Then
add water make dough.
Roll
the dough in shape of chapatti then cut it into circular papdi shapes with the
help or ring mould.

Pick
the papdis with the help of a fork and deep fry in a pan.

For
Dahi Tikkis
Heat
oil in pan, make tikkis out of the dahi tikki mixture and pan fry from both
sides.

For
sweet potato mixture
Take
chopped boiled sweet potato in a bowl, add chopped coriander, rock salt,
chilli powder, lemon juice and oil then mix well.

For
plating
Smear
mint chutney on plate and place a papdi on it.
Now
add some tamarind chutney then place a tikki on it and put mint chutney on top.

Now
repeat the process to make layers.
