Rui macher simple curry/Rahu fish's simple curry

It is a Bengali dish to serve as a main course and ideal for any season. It is a very tasty but simple and easy to cook serving for 4. Try and enjoy it.

Ingredients
Rahu fish                                  4 pieces
Onion                                       1 medium
Green chilli                                4
Tomato                                     1 small
Panch foron                              ½ teaspoon
Dry chilli                                   1
Fresh coriander leaves               few
Turmeric powder                        1 teaspoon
Salt                                          to taste
Sugar                                       ¼ teaspoon
Mustard oil                                1 ½ tablespoon
Method
First wash fishes properly then keep on a dish add salt and turmeric powder and marinate for 5-6 minutes.

Within this time finely slice onion and chop tomato and keep aside. Now heat oil on kadai in high flame put two pieces of fish then immediately turn over and reduce heat, fry for 2-3 minutes or till light brown on both sides. Fry other two pieces in same process. Take out from oil and keep aside.

Now put panch foron and dry chilli then saute till fragrant, add sliced onion saute for 1 minute then add chopped tomato, stir for 1 minute on low heat. Now add fried fish and cover for 2 minutes, in middle turn over the pieces. Open cover add ½ cup of water, required salt, sugar and sliced green chillies then stir and again cover for 2-3 minutes. In the mean time chop coriander leaves.

After opening the cover add chopped coriander leaves and stir. The simple tasty dish is ready to serve.
